Brigit Rubinstein
Co-Founder l Principal Lawyer
Based in Sydney, Brigit has had more than 20 years of experience in Intellectual Property and Commercial Dispute Resolution, including assisting large corporate clients and SMEs across a broad range of industries with their offline and online brand enforcement, trade mark and passing off disputes, copyright infringement, and other Intellectual Property and IT-related disputes.
After spending 15 years as a partner at a top tier law firm, Brigit spent nearly four years as the Practice Leader of the Regulatory and IP Disputes team at a fast-growing New Law firm before following her dream of opening her IP law practice, Level Up Legal, with Zan Lee. Brigit has a Masters degree in Intellectual Property law.
With a background in advertising, Brigit is equipped with a deep understanding of SMEs and commercial entities’ marketing challenges and needs. She has worked with businesses in Australia and abroad in telecommunications, transport, motoring and car manufacturing, energy, media and publishing, health retail, hospitality, software development, construction, property development and financial services.

Zan Lee
Zan has more than a decade’s experience in Intellectual Property and specialised expertise in the Regulatory Compliance space, combined. She has worked in Japan, Malaysia and New Zealand, and also speaks Mandarin, Cantonese and Bahasa.
Zan has worked for a large national law firm assisting FMCG clients in relation to their trade mark, design, brand protection, and consumer law matters. Later she was contracted as a Compliance Program Manager for a prominent NSW university. After having a stint with a fast-growing law firm, she is the co-founder of Level Up Legal. Zan has a Bachelor of Law and is an admitted Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand, an admitted Legal Practitioner of the Supreme Court of New South Wales and a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland.
